Our catering staff of professionals can arrange any event from coffee breaks to receptions, gala functions to barbeque picnics. Whatever the event, Chartwells Dining Services is available to guide you through the planning process. Your menu choices are not limited to the selections in our brochure. We are here to serve you and will custom design a menu to satisfy your specific needs to fit any budget. Please feel free to contact our Catering Offices.
Plates, Utensils, Cups, Napkins and Table Cloths (for Food Tables)
A confirmed number of guests must be specified 3 business days prior to the event. This number is considered the guaranteed guest count. There is a 5% variance allowance on your guest count. For example, a guest count of 100 has an overage allowance of 5 guests (105), or an under allowance of 5 guests (95). If the actual number of guests exceeds allowed variance, every effort will be made to accommodate the additional guests. (A substitute menu may be required).
Groups requesting service must have a minimum number of 10 guests unless otherwise specified. Any service below $50 will be charged a $15 delivery fee.
If notice of cancelation is received 2 business days in advance of the event, you will only be charged any expenses incurred. If notice is received less than 2 business days in advance of the event you will be charged the full amount.
Payment for University sponsored catered events is due within 30 days of billing date. All billing information must be provided upon booking. All functions to be paid from University accounts must supply a PO number at the time the order is placed. No internal order will processed without a PO Number. Payment for non-University sponsored events, is due immediately upon receipt of invoice. State and local sales tax will be added to invoices of individuals or groups not exempt from such tax.
Failure to remit payment within 30 days can accrue penalties.
